GEMS – MIAMI FILM FESTIVAL – INDUSTRY REGISTRATION 2017

Application for Industry Pass for the 2017 GEMS Miami Film Festival (October 12-15 2017), is now open to all film professionals, including (but not limited to) sales agents, buyers, producers, production executives, craftspeople, financiers, festival programmers, film commissioners, film publicists, and exhibitors.

GEMS is the premium fall showcase of the MIAMI FILM FESTIVAL, now in its 35th consecutive year, and recently chosen by MOVIEMAKER MAGAZINE as “one of the 25 coolest film festivals in the world, 2017”.

Please note that just for this year, by purchasing your GEMS Industry Pass, you also get accreditation for the industry events for our main festival, to take place from March 9-18, 2018. (Regular price for the MIAMI FILM FESTIVAL Industry Pass is $249USD).

GEMS (October 12-15, 2017):

  • Happy Hours and networking opportunities
  • Access to Industry/Filmmaker invite only events
  • Access to online library of films from Friday, October 13, 2017. All industry access will be available for a week after the close of the Festival (Sunday, October 22, 2017)
  • Industry Guide listing
MIAMI FILM FESTIVAL (March 9-18, 2018):
  • Access to a maximum of 3 public screenings per festival day (including Opening/Closing)
  • Access to MASTERCLASS Seminars
  • Daily Happy Hours and networking opportunities
  • Access to Industry/Filmmaker invite only events
  • Access to online library of films from Friday, March 9, 2018. All industry access will be available for two weeks after the close of the Festival (Sunday, April 1, 2018)
  • Industry Guide Listing, Rights List, Festival Publications
  • Official Industry Gift Bag
All registered delegates will have access to our password-protected digital screening library. Passwords will be provided to registered delegates when they check in at each Festival.

A limited number of accreditations will be available for every category, company, and/or organization; this means that your application alone neither constitutes nor guarantees your accreditation. Miami Film Festival may accept or turn down an application for accreditation at its sole discretion.

Conditions for Accreditation and forms of payment

Accreditation is granted based on the applicant's professional activity.

To receive accreditation, you must specify the nature of your activity in the industry. The online application must be filled in with your personal data as well as information about the company that employs you. Once your application is received, the Industry office will review your request for Industry credentials. You will receive an email within 2-business days with a decision. If your application is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email, including instructions guiding you to the payment portal of our accreditation website. We accept the following credit cards for payment in U.S. dollars only: AMEX, MASTERCARD, VISA.

Accreditation Fees: Each applicant may request only one accreditation, which is strictly non-transferable.

ACCREDITATION - $99 (USD)

Validity The accreditation is valid for the duration of GEMS 2017 and Miami Film Festival 2018, your accreditation must be clearly displayed and shown upon request to personnel in all areas of the Festival. There is a replacement fee of $10 (U.S. Dollars) for misplaced or lost badges.

Picking up your accreditation

If your application is accepted, the Industry Office will send you a confirmation email. The exact address, dates and opening hours of the Industry Office will be provided in the email confirming your accreditation. Accreditation is strictly personal and non-transferable.
